Altah was a female handmaiden to Queen Kylantha of Naboo during the time of the Galactic Civil War. Sometime following the Battle of Yavin in 0 BBY, Emperor Palpatine tasked a loyal subject of the Galactic Empire with safely escorting the handmaiden to the Emperor's Retreat so that Palpatine could "apologize" to her.
