Alto was the Prince of the moon Nallastia's Raptor Clan. He lived a double life as a mechanic named Rench at Fondor Spaceport. Princess Calvaria, the daughter of Nallastia's Skull Queen, was betrothed to Alto, although she did not love him. She secretly loved Rench. Following Groodo the Hutt's takeover of the spaceport, Calvaria realized to her delight that Alto and Rench were one and the same.
