Major Anri's old master was a Colonel in the Special Forces of the Imperial Military. Though the Twi'lek was nominally his slave, he allowed her to run actual combat missions, in which Anri consistently outperformed the regular officers, making them furious. In the aftermath of Darth Malgus's attempted coup, the Sith Empire reluctantly began to integrate non-humans into its military. With the new rules in place, Anri ceased being treated as a slave, while her skills instantly earned her a commision into an officer position of her own.
