Anyel was a marine biologist who worked at the underwater fishing base on Madurs. She conducted a tour of the base for a group of tourists who were on Madurs as part of a cruise on the Halcyon. She showed some concern at the ice quakes caused by the black tower, but when Leia Organa offered to connect her to universities such as the University of Jenrand, she refused as they were being monitored by Alecia Beck.
