Ash Masingani

Ash Masingani was a Force-sensitive individual who served as a Jedi Master of the Jedi Order during the High Republic Era. In 232 BBY, she was present on the Core Worlds planet Coruscant and was traveling in the world's skylanes alongside the human Jedi youngling Cam Lindon in a hovercar when the vehicle was struck by an out-of-control jet bike. The collision resulted in the death of the hovercar pilot and caused Lindon to fall several levels onto a landing platform. Masingani, while badly wounded herself, commandeered another vehicle, which she used to pilot both herself and the youngling to the Jedi Temple's infirmary. Lindon's larynx was destroyed as a result of his fall and required a vocoder to be installed in his throat.

In 228 BBY, while traveling on the science ship Innovator, Lindon—by then a Padawan—mentally recalled the accident that had destroyed his larynx. He considered his life had only been saved because of Masingani's quick thinking.
