Avers was a male Human member of the Balmorran resistance during the Galactic War between the Galactic Republic and the reconstituted Sith Empire. A fierce opponent of the Empire and patriot of his homeworld Balmorra during the Imperial occupation, he was ordered to aid the Jedi Order in their mission to retrieve a prototype cloaking device, but Avers and his superior Nikollan Kord attempted to betray the Republic by stealing the prototype.
