B3-RD was an astromech droid that was tasked by Galactic Republic-allied forces with reprogramming artillery controlled by the Sith Empire in the Axial Park region of Coronet City during the Battle of Corellia. The droid was destroyed by Imperial snipers, but Republic forces recovered the targeting program from the droid and completed the mission.
