Balba was a human who was enslaved in the Minboosa District on Nal Hutta by the Hutt crime lord Vobbara Yusinduu. Around 3623 BBY, Balba was freed by the Alliance Commander and former Jedi Padawan Sa'har Kateen during the rebellion in the Minboosa District. Balba asked the Commander to retrieve armor and weapons from the Hidden Chain forces around the Shipping Facility in exchange for information about the Hidden Chain shuttle in the district.
