Bas Ear'lasr

Bas Ear'lasr was a Nihil pirate who served on the Gaze Electric, the flagship of Eye of the Nihil Marchion Ro during the High Republic Era. They fed a three-legged tooka within a hangar on the Gaze which eventually came to Ro's attention.

In 228 BBY, when the Eye was at a crystal farm on the fifth moon of the Outer Rim planet Norisyn investigating a plague, he asked his secretary, Thaya Ferr, to send a Nihil to bring him the tooka among other items. In response, Ferr had a human Nihil take the cat in a bag to Ro. The Eye then threw the tooka into the crystals that had been infected by the plague, and it eventually died.
