Belgar Overlord

Belgar Overlord was a self-appointed explorer who, together with his partner, Roth Skimm, discovered the rundown planet Belgaroth in the Core Worlds six hundred years before the rise of the Galactic Empire. After naming it, Belgar Overlord and Roth Skimm worked diligently to turn the planet into a bustling waystation and trade hub. However, before their grander plans could come to fruition, they killed each other during a «friendly» card game. This tragic incident became an ominous harbinger of the difficult times that awaited Belgaroth in the future.
