Canon Legends version → Linked from 3 articles
Ben Neluenf was the first great podracer born on the desert planet of Tatooine. At some point prior to the Invasion of Naboo in 32 BBY, Neluenf lost his life in a spectacular attempt to scale a broad, flat-topped mountain located between the Desert Plain and the Hutt Flats on Tatooine. As a tribute, the site of his death was christened Ben's Mesa.
