Beviin Verhayc was a Mandalorian who lived during the time of the Galactic Republic's transformation into the Galactic Empire. Verhayc made a living as a craftsman, creating and selling quality Mandalorian helmets, including ones that could be worn by children.
In the year 19 BBY, the veteran Mandalorian soldier Kal Skirata considered approaching Verhayc to build a helmet for his young grandson, Venku Skirata.
