BG-J38 was a bug-headed, yellow-plated J9 worker drone manufactured by Roche Hive who served in the Hutt crime lord Jabba Desilijic Tiure's criminal empire. Within Jabba's Palace, the droid was stationed near the entrance to the throne room. This droid was modified J9 unit who tasked with playing Dejarik, sabacc and other such games, becoming the best gambler on Tatooine. But he couldn't beat his owner.
