Block

Block was an admiral of the Galactic Republic navy, who served aboard the Venator-class Star Destroyer Vigilance during the Clone Wars against the Confederacy of Independent Systems. In 19 BBY, Block commanded Republic naval forces as Jedi Generals Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, and Quinlan Vos led an attack on the Confederacy's listening post on the Outer Rim Territories planet Vanqor. As the crew prepared to descend to the planet's surface, the admiral asked Kenobi whether he wanted to launch a second wave of fighters, to which the general accepted. Vos, who was secretly working with the Sith Lord Count Dooku, warned his master about the attack, and the Separatists were able to evacuate the facility before Republic forces arrived.
