Brinojja was a Hutt who operated as a crime lord during the time of the Galactic Civil War. The Hutt employed the Trandoshan Verkoss as the chief enforcer for Brinojja's crime operation and in 4 ABY, Brinojja sent Verkoss and a group of thugs to apprehend the Human information merchant Rat from a bar on the moon Nar Shaddaa. A group of Rebel Alliance agents assisted Rat in escaping from Brinojja's thugs and the information broker was subsequently grateful to the Rebels for saving him from the Hutt.
