Cervil the Uncanny

Cervil the Uncanny was a Jedi who fought in the Sith Wars. She left behind testimonies about the use of lightwhips—a lightsaber variant with a flexible blade—to defend against Sith Lords using the Forbidden Forms. In 232 BBY, during the High Republic Era when the Sith were believed to be extinct, Jedi Knight Vernestra Rwoh researched Jedi usages of lightwhips and uncovered Cervil's testimonies. Rwoh later cited the testimonies to Padawan Imri Cantaros as proof that the Jedi Order had historically used lightwhips, in defense of the lightwhip mode she had added to her own lightsaber.
