Chertek was an opportunistic Geonosian who served as an ace pilot within the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Clone Wars against the Galactic Republic, which lasted from 22 BBY to 19 BBY. At one point during the war, they flew a Nantex-class starfighter on the planet Geonosis and attacked a Republic Venator-class Star Destroyer.
