Comet was a pet kima belonging to an officer of the Meatlumps, a Corellia-based gang of technology-hating thugs and criminals, during the Galactic Civil War. In 1 ABY, Comet was adopted by a spacer who killed its previous master while investigating the Meatlumps for Corellia Times reporters.
