CPD 1-13 was a medical droid that was assigned to the Imperial medical center on Coruscant where Irek Ismaren was transformed into a cyborg Dark Jedi.
When Luke Skywalker and his companions arrived at the ruined medcenter by accident during their reconnaissance of the conquered planet after Coruscant had fallen to the Yuuzhan Vong in 27 ABY, CPD 1-13 tried to kill them, only to halt his efforts after Mara Jade gave the droid a Bluenek authorization code that she had known from her days as an Emperor's Hand.
