Darth Fastus was a Sith Lord of the reconstituted Sith Empire. When Fastus heard about the experiments of the Galactic Republic to determine the strengths and weaknesses of various alien species, he sent a subordinate, Major Locke, to investigate on the planet Belsavis. With the Republic's research, Darth Fastus intended to create a perfect fighting specimen for the Empire by way of genetic manipulation.
