Daru'da was a Twi'lek female scientist who worked in the Senate Tower on Coruscant during the Cold War between the Galactic Republic and the reconstituted Sith Empire. During her work, she was visited by Ace who was sent by Momi Andrell to deliver the samples to her. Daru'da was quite interested in these samples and went on to clone the shanjaru.
