Derliff was the Human male Imperial Moff of a region that contained the Wild Space's Silken Asteroids cluster. In the earliest days of the Galactic Civil War, he tried to repel the minor Rebel base in the Silken Asteroids, but Rebel General Jan Dodonna managed to hold it and drove Derliff's forces out.
