Dicsato Smi

Dicsato Smi was a male who operated a market in the Tann Province on Ryloth during the Clone Wars and then during the reign of the Galactic Empire. During the Clone Wars, Smi struggled to keep his corner market stocked and customers satisfied. After the Clone Wars, the Empire established an Imperial protectorate on Ryloth, and the planet was subjected to extreme rationing.

Taxes had significantly increased, and Imperial troops often freely took products without payment. The increasing debt forced Smi to take part in black market operations. Since Twi'leks were constantly taken as slaves for the Empire and criminal organizations, Smi worried that if he upset the Imperials, he would be subjected to the same fate.
