Draknus was an Ithorian male swooper who resided on Tatooine during the Galactic Civil War. After the Battle of Yavin, he managed a swoop racing track in Mos Entha with his droids RC-1Z, RC-2X and RC-3T. In 1 ABY, fellow swooper An'Kwee introduced to Draknus a spacer who wished to gain trust from Mos Entha swoop racers. The aim of the spacer was to retrieve a R2 unit motivator that was previously used by a deceased podracer pilot. After the spacer successfully achieved all of Draknus's races, An'Kwee agreed to help the spacer in the search.
