Ecklin was a male Mon Calamari representative to the Hutt Cartel on Makeb during the Conquest of Makeb. He was stationed at the Hutt Cartel's embassy in Talaos City, the planet's capital. In the city, Ecklin was approached by a Galactic Republic strike team that convinced him to betray his masters, and grant them access to the embassy archives.
