Edern Lars, the son of Gredda and Lef Lars, was a younger brother to Cliegg Lars, a farmer on the Outer Rim planet Tatooine. He died at some point by 22 BBY, when at age fourteen he lost control of his family's V-35 Courier landspeeder. He was buried with a tombstone on his family's property on Tatooine. In 22 BBY, Shmi Skywalker, Cliegg's wife, was buried next to the graves of Edern and and his parents.
