Edon Kappehl was a fair-skinned human male bombardier in the Resistance's Crimson Squadron during their war against the First Order. Aboard the Crimson Hailstorm, a MG-100 StarFortress SF-17 bomber, Kappehl participated in multiple missions including the Atterra campaign and the evacuation of the Resistance base on the planet D'Qar in 34 ABY. He died when an enemy fighter crashed into the bomber's payload, detonating the proton bombs.
