Eleena Daru

Eleena Daru was a female Rutian Twi'lek, and the lover of the Sith Lord Darth Malgus during the Great Galactic War. She was originally a slave in the slave pens on Geonosis, until saved by Darth Malgus. She participated in the Sacking of Coruscant in 3653 BBY.

Along with Shae Vizla, Eleena accompanied Darth Malgus alone into the Jedi Temple during the onset of the Sacking of Coruscant. While Shae Vizla infiltrated undetected through an upper access-way, Eleena walked side-by-side with Malgus through the front entrance, serving as his rear-guard as the Jedi stationed within the Temple's main foyer moved to confront them. During the short standoff that ensued, and with the Jedi's attention focused on Malgus, a shuttle carrying a strike team of Sith warriors crashed through the Temple's entrance behind the pair, and the combatants hidden within charged out and engaged the Jedi en masse, commencing the Sacking of Coruscant.

During the battle, Eleena took cover and provided supportive fire with her twin blaster pistols, but was incapacitated by Jedi Master Ven Zallow, who used the Force to push her into a pillar. After she recovered from the wounds sustained in the battle, Darth Malgus gave her a list of people and equipment he would need, and ordered her to find them and bring them to his ship Valor. However, at the Liston Spaceport on Coruscant, she was attacked by Aryn Leneer, a Jedi Knight. Aryn defeated Eleena, but, upon realizing how Eleena was treated by Malgus, decided to spare her life. This would result in Malgus later sparing Aryn's life out of gratitude.

This series of events would ultimately lead to Malgus realizing his love for Eleena had become a weakness that could be used against him. And that such a weakness could not be allowed to exist. As Eleena recovered from her battle with Aryn, Malgus killed her with a single stab of the saber through her heart. Eleena's death weighed heavily on Malgus, his thoughts haunted by her memory which began to feed his anger. In her death, she became one of his greatest sources of strength.
