Fox-Ear

Fox-Ear was a pirate captain that led a gang of aliens including Gura, Riku, and several members of a diminutive red species. At some point no earlier than 1 BBY, Fox-Ear and his gang searched the planet Tatooine for smugglers Bennet and Myler Sten, whom he claimed had stolen something important to him. Using the local child Sola, the gang tracked the location of the Sten's child Yuko and droid BILY to their home. Piloting his starship, the pirates destroyed the home's entrance and threatened to harm Yuko if BILY did not lead them to Fox-Ear's stolen treasure. BILY complied and guided the pirates to the Sten family home in a cave within the Jundland Wastes.

Finding their way to the vault entrance of the home, BILY claimed that the door could not be opened. Fox-Ear responded by firing his blaster pistol at the droid, stunning BILY. Fox-Ear then ordered his underlings to retrieve Yuko from where he was left in the home while he reprogrammed the disabled BILY. Later, Fox-Ear's minions, alongside Yuko and Sola, barreled through a nearby cave wall, being chased by a leviathan krayt dragon—with the large beast crashing into a deep chasm. Yuko demanded Fox-Ear return BILY to him, to which Fox-Ear obeyed, calling for the reprogrammed BILY, now known as Darth Bear. To Fox-Ear's frustration, the droid still refused to open the vault door, but attacked Yuko and Sola.

Fox-Ear eventually coerced Yuko to open the vault, promising to change BILY back to normal. However, the vault was empty, save for a single Batuuan Spira. The krayt dragon then returned from the chasm and briefly chased the pirates before directing its attention to the children and BILY. While the pirates ran, Sola threw his cane—with Yuko's triangle droid attached to the end—at the pirates, pinning Fox-Ear's cape to the ground. The droid released a loud noise that lured the krayt dragon to the pirates, barreling through the small group and sending them all plummeting into the chasm.
