Gahg was an individual who became the first Finance Minister of the Galactic Empire in 19 BBY shortly after its creation at the end of the Clone Wars. One of his first tasks was to oversee the annexation of former Confederacy of Independent Systems holdings which had been seized at the end of the Clone Wars. During a meeting with Galactic Emperor Palpatine, his aide Mas Amedda provided a status report from Gahg, stating that the annexation was nearly complete.
