GB-3P0 was a protocol droid that was owned by the family House Bolleon. Lord Bolleon was a collector of artifacts and primitive art and at some point during galactic history, GB-3P0 accompanied Bolleon on an expedition to the planet Durace, to translate the ancient pictographs that were etched in the walls of the planet's caverns. However, something on the world did not want the meaning of the pictographs to be uncovered and it killed Bolleon, forcing to GB-3P0 to become a fugitive.
