Giffis Fane was a Jedi Master who served the Jedi Order as a member of the Jedi High Council during the Cold War between the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire. Fane was considered to be brilliant, and in 3643 BBY, Fane attended a meeting of the Council via holoprojector where the Council members agreed that Shigar Konshi, the Padawan of the Order's Grand Master Satele Shan, was fit to take the Jedi Trials.
