GL-916

GL-916 was a green-plated shopkeeper droid with red sensors that owned a kiosk in the lower market districts of the planet Coruscant's underworld in 21 BBY. GL-916 was speaking with a Twi'lek when the Galactic Republic astromech droid R2-D2 asked the shopkeeper droid if he had seen his protocol droid companion C-3PO, whom he had lost track of. GL-916 admitted that he had not seen R2-D2's friend, and instead offered the astromech his wares, including top-drawer titanium that he claimed would last longer than R2's circuit boards. Disinterested, R2-D2 left the kiosk as GL-916 offered to discount the price by six credits.
