Graf Zapalo was a human who served as the Master of Sciences in the Naboo Royal Advisory Council under both Queen Amidala's and Queen Jamillia's rules. He was also one of Naboo's most talented oceanographers and oversaw the study and distribution of Naboo's unique energy supply. The planet's porous crust was full of plasma that the Naboo collected, refined and finally used as a clean power source. During the reign of King Veruna, the Naboo had also started to export their plasma.
