Colonel Gris Manks was a male Human commander of artillery for the Sons and Daughters of Freedom. During the Battle of Praesitlyn against the Confederacy of Independent Systems, he and his artillery units supported Jedi Nejaa Halcyon and Anakin Skywalker. When Slaykes and contingent of clone troopers were retreating, Gris opened the barrage too soon, which he and CT-19/39 were killed.
