Handree Braman

Handree Braman was an Ortolan chef whose restaurant, the CardSafe, was one of the most lauded on the planet Coruscant. They wrote one of the most famous cookbooks on the preparation of hawk-bats, non-sentient reptavians found on Coruscant. In the book, Braman, who discovered their edibility, considered them to be delicate creatures and detailed the care that was needed for hawk-bats to not become tough and gamy when cooked. They also detailed the cooking of the creature, which included them being cooked at one thousand degrees for twenty minutes. When the hawk-bat was cooked all the way through, Braman considered the meat to be the juiciest meal.

An excerpt from Braman's cookbook was included in The Essential Guide to Alien Species, a book assembled by a professional author using the work of Senior Anthropologist Mammon Hoole. The guide was published no earlier than 25 ABY.
