Harkell

Harkell was a governor of the Galactic Empire who controlled Ringo Vinda, a planet in the Mid Rim. When a speeder crashed on the planet and damaged a bust of Galactic Emperor Sheev Palpatine, Harkell sentenced those responsible to six months of imprisonment for their careless driving, but as he considered the damage to the bust a serious crime against the Empire, he added an additional ten years. A file titled "Speeder accident #5744182" was created on the incident and stored in the "Criminal Sentencing" section of the Ringo Vinda Archives. The historian Beaumont Kin cited this file when mentioning Harkell in his book The Rise and Fall of the Galactic Empire in 35 ABY.
