Haune Tiar

Haune Tiar was a Jedi Master who headed the Jedi Order's enclave on the planet Ossus around 24,953 BBY, when Duros scouts from the newly-formed Galactic Republic linked Ossus to the Core Worlds with the Perlemian Trade Route. Tiar returned with the scouts to the Core Worlds, and, during his tour of the Republic, the Jedi foresaw that the Order would need to be the Republic's protectors. Returning to Ossus, Tiar discussed the matter with the rest of the enclave for several weeks before declaring that they would become guardians of the Republic.
