Ihu Niopua was a male senator who served in the Galactic Senate of the Republic during the Clone Wars. Approximately one year after the Battle of Geonosis, he was quoted on the HNE evening news praising the efforts of the Coruscant Security Force in disrupting a terrorist network operating on Coruscant. In fact, it was mostly the work of Kal Skirata and his Clone commandos.
