Joak Drysso was an officer in the Imperial Navy, and a staunch New Order loyalist—a squat, dangerous looking man whose hair and goatee turned gray early, and who hid his thoughts and worries behind a stern mask of command. His skill as a Captain rivalled that of the most competent Admirals, though his desire for power and vengeance often proved to impede his judgement.
