Jordel Tlan was a Human male who served as a high-ranking officer in Synchet Industries during the Cold War between the Galactic Republic and the resurgent Sith Empire. However, the corporation was shut down around 3648 BBY. Possessing considerable wealth, he became reclusive and settled down in Star Cluster Casino on Nar Shaddaa, tended only by droids and a single aide Netula Pahn. Around 3643 BBY, he was visited by Cipher Nine regarding information about the Synchet.
