Canon Legends version → Linked from 2 articles
Kagi was an individual who held the rank of captain and worked for the Sith Lord Darth Sidious. Soon after he proclaimed himself Emperor of the First Galactic Empire in 19 BBY, Jedi Master Yoda confronted Sidious in a duel in the Senate Building's Galactic Senate Chamber on the planet Coruscant. Ending with Yoda fleeing the fight, Sidious soon felt that his newly appointed Sith apprentice Darth Vader was in danger. The Sith Lord therefore ordered his advisor Mas Amedda to inform Kagi to prepare his Theta-class T-2c shuttle for immediate takeoff to the Outer Rim planet Mustafar, where his apprentice was battling Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi.
