Keenig was a senator of the Galactic Republic who lived during the Great Galactic War against the Sith Empire. At some point between 3681 BBY and 3667 BBY, Keenig was brutally assassinated by Mandalorian bounty hunter Shae Vizla, which brought her to the attention of the Sith Lord Darth Malgus. The two began a partnership as a result.
