Klaus Vandangante
Canon Legends version → Linked from 1 article
Klaus Vandangante, known under the alias "Doc," was a male Corellian technician. At some point during the Imperial Era, he helped the smuggler Han Solo hot-rod the hyperdrive of the Millennium Falcon to a highly illegal Class 0.5, in order to pay off his debt to him. In addition to upgrading the ship's hyperdrive, Klaus also helped install upgrades to protect the ship in hyperspace, and he also modified the Falcon's navigation computer to allow it to calculate the fastest hyperspace routes possible, even if those routes would lead dangerously close to an asteroid field.
