Kouru's parents

At least two individuals were the parents of the humanoid alien female Kouru. Although they wanted to keep her, they were not allowed to because she was Force-sensitive and required by the Empire's lords to become a Jedi. Kouru eventually joined the Sith, a sect who unsuccessfully rebelled against the Jedi clans. Twenty years after their defeat, Kouru remembered her parents' desire to keep her and reflected that she had not felt free until she had joined the Sith.
