Krim was a family of Pykes affiliated with the Pyke Syndicate. Syndicate leader Marg Krim, his wife Tezzka Krim, his daughter Laalee, and his son Vram were all members of the family, which hailed from the Pyke homeworld of Oba Diah and was prominent during the final year of the Clone Wars, 19 BBY. Tezzka and her children were kidnapped when Marg refused to merge the Pykes with Black Sun, and subsequently rescued by Asajj Ventress and Quinlan Vos. As the war drew to a close, Marg Krim dealt with former Jedi padawan Ahsoka Tano and her new friends, the sisters Trace and Rafa Martez, when they dumped a spice shipment intended for him. The trio escaped from captivity numerous times, exasperating the Pyke leader. In the war's final days, Marg Krim was ordered into hiding along with the rest of the leadership of the Shadow Collective by Maul, the former Sith Lord who puppeteered the underworld's most powerful crime organizations.
