Lanni was a Mon Calamari who worked for the Hutt crime lord Sinasu on the moon Nar Shaddaa during the time of the Galactic Civil War, as a dockmaster at the Greentop Tower docking station. After Sinasu became embroiled in a gang war with the rival Hutt Noako, agents of Noako torched Greentop Tower. Lanni was badly burnt in the attack, and she was taken to the BactaMax medical center for treatment.
