Lesa Benex was a middle-aged, female individual who grew up with Myra Talcon. After the Galactic Empire took over her planet, she left to start Haven, a remote mountain village on Ison. She set up Haven to be a place where people could live in peace, away from all the violence. At some point after the events of the Battle of Hoth, the bounty hunter Dengar kidnapped Benex and held her for ransom, demanding ten thousand credits.
