Lodish was a Togruta male serving in the Republic Military of the Galactic Republic during the Galactic War. Stationed in Aurek Base on Hoth along with other Togrutas, they were ready to leave the planet and return to Shili in 3642 BBY, when an Imperial attack on their encampment left them without passes off-world. Because it took months for new ones to arrive, Lodish asked a Republic citizen to retrieve their passes from an Imperial-overrun camp instead.
