A translator droid was utilized by the Wookiee criminal Lonkus on the planet Liskan during a trade dispute between the Trade Federation and the Gillanter Corporation. While Lonkus was holding the former Jedi master Dooku as his captive, the droid translated Lonkus' Shyriiwook into basic to allow him and Dooku to communicate.
